The World Server Throwing Association (WSTA) brings the datacenter’s most intense underground sport—which has been criticized as “needlessly brutal to servers”—into the mainstream for the whole MSP and internet infrastructure community to enjoy.
Records will fall. Champions will rise. Legends will be born.
The World Server Throwing Tour returns to Barcelona for the Spanish Qualifier (WSTTSQ), as elite server-throwing athletes demonstrated their technique and raw power. This is where records fall… and heroes rise. Will it be you who raises their gloved fists in victory on the Server Throwing podium?

Server-throwing athletes in Men’s and Women’s divisions will show their raw power in front of a live audience of MSP GLOBAL attendees. This intense sport welcomes all genders and ability levels: the only requirement is your desire to throw a server really %&#*ing far.
How It Works
A selection of server-throwing athletes will show their raw power in front of a live audience of MSP GLOBAL attendees. This intense sport welcomes all genders and ability levels: the only requirement is your desire to throw a server really far.
The Server Throwing athlete must combine strength, balance, technique, breathing, focus, and the power of what is in their heart.
Each thrower has two attempts, and the furthest result is recorded. MSP GLOBAL provides prizes for the top three finishers in the Men’s and Women’s divisions, who will also get a free VIP ticket to CloudFest 2027. There they will compete against winners in other qualifiers to determine who will wear the WSTC Championship Belt!
