An engineer by training, Alfredo has over twenty years of international experience in network design and operations. Since taking the helm at WARIAN in 2011, he has transformed the company into a leading managed infrastructure provider driving the creation of an independent, carrier-grade IP backbone extending across Europe and Latin America. A passionate advocate for digital sovereignty, Alfredo strongly supports integrated, cloud-native services that give users unified control over their compute, networking, and security resources.
Giordano has also provided consultancy across Europe, USA and LATAM in network training and high-availability design, and is actively engaged in international initiatives to improve knowledge, peering and resilience, including OpenAccess, MIX, NAMEX and RIPE.
