As SVP Business Operations / Chief of Staff Alona (Elena) Geckler is responsible for the CEO’s operations and Rhythm of Business; oversees internal communications, Acronis culture, corporate initiatives, government relations and special cross-company projects. She also brings a passion for diversity and women in leadership, overseeing the Women in Tech program that helps elevate women’s careers within the Acronis community through mentorship opportunities.
Alona brings two decades of leadership and operations management. Before joining Acronis in early 2019, Alona spent 11 years at Microsoft, serving as a Chief of Staff for Global Services at Microsoft HQ as well as leading several divisions on her own (Microsoft Services, Microsoft Business Solutions etc). Before Microsoft Alona served as a Vice President for Global Marketing at IT-consulting company Columbus IT (HQ in Denmark). Alona holds a Master’s Degree in Economics.
